The Arms Room, a small company out of Colorado, displays their takedown lever action rifles. This one made from a Marlin 336-BL with some custom work already done on it.

Such jobs are not for the faint of heart, however. TAR does not list their prices on their website, and it sounds like a case of “if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it”. Similar work is in the thousands. The rifle displayed here is probably $3-5000, but there’s no way to be sure.

But each job does come with a custom bag, made by a professional saddler.

One day, I will have a takedown lever action. Probably a Winchester 94 (I don’t like 336s), but still.
